In current practice, Shawn Park plays with moments captured in everyday life to create a game-like situation. <Touching of Waves>(2022) begins by painting the scenery and found stories of Gangneung Beach on numerous 5x5cm panels. While a collection of hundreds of stories and landscapes are combined into animation, the original pieces are scattered all over the streets of Art Baugil. Attached with magnets they hide at every corner waiting to be seen by a seeker, where the treasure hunt begins.
